AI credits measure AI work on your project: reading files, interpreting your request in context, and applying changes. Shorter, focused prompts use fewer credits than broad ones. Plan mode uses fewer credits than Build mode. **Visual edits** (dragging elements, editing text directly) use **no credits**.

### What is Sticklight?

Sticklight is an AI-powered platform for building production-ready websites and apps through conversation. Describe what you want; Sticklight builds it and you stay in control of the direction, structure, and final output at every step.

### What is a credit?

A credit is the unit Sticklight uses to measure AI work on your project. Each request consumes credits based on how much work is involved behind the scenes — reading your existing files, interpreting your request in context, and applying changes safely. Shorter, focused prompts use fewer credits than broad ones, and Plan mode uses fewer than Build mode. Visual edits, like dragging elements or editing text directly, use no credits.

### Do my credits expire?

On Pro, unused credits carry over for one additional month. Sticklight spends your older balance first, so your newest credits stay eligible for the next rollover. Rollover applies only while your Pro plan is active; switching back to Free clears any remaining balance. The 5 daily bonus credits do not roll over.

### What happens if I reach my plan limits?

To keep building without interruption, upgrade anytime from the pricing page. Otherwise, your daily limit resets the next day and your monthly limit resets at the start of your next billing cycle.

### Can I switch plans whenever I want?

Yes. Change your plan from the Pricing page at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

### What changes if I move back to the Free plan?

A few things shift on the publishing side: your connected domain stops resolving to your site (Sticklight preserves the configuration for 30 days), your site stays live on its sticklight.com address, Code switches to view-only, and the "Made with Sticklight" badge returns to your published pages.

### Are payments handled securely?

Stripe processes all card transactions on its own infrastructure. Sticklight does not store card numbers — only the last four digits, shared back by Stripe for your receipts.
