Less digging, more building, and three more features that just shipped
Building feels best when everything is right where you expect it, when your emails arrive trusted in an inbox, when the only thing on your screen is the work in front of you, and when every change you make is something you can see clearly, not something you have to take on faith.
This release moves you closer to all four. Here’s what’s new.
A home base that gets out of your way
Your dashboard is where every session starts, so we rebuilt the parts of it that were slowing you down before you’d even opened a project.
The sidebar is now persistent. Switch workspaces, jump to Templates, Skills, or Connectors, or head into Billing and Settings, all from the same place, without a page reload breaking your train of thought. Moving between Home, Templates, and Skills no longer flickers the layout on the way there.
The project list got sharper too. Filter by all, published, draft, or starred, search with a debounce so it doesn’t fight you while you type, and star the projects you come back to most. Each card shows a live thumbnail of the actual build, not a placeholder icon.
And if you’re building from your phone, the layout now respects notched devices properly, so nothing sits under a camera cutout or a home indicator.
Less digging, more building. Every project, template, and setting is closer than it used to be.

Send transactional email from a domain your users recognize
Every account on your app sends emails: sign up confirmations, verification links, password resets. Until now, those went out from a Sticklight domain by default.
Custom SMTP changes that. Point your project at Resend, SendGrid, Postmark, or any SMTP provider you already use, and every one of those emails goes out from your own domain instead.
- Better deliverability. A domain with an existing reputation lands in the inbox, not the spam folder.
- Your brand on every email, not Sticklight’s.
- No cap on volume, since you’re routing through your own provider’s plan.
Set it up once from your project settings, and every transactional email from that point on carries your domain. Learn more about custom SMTP here.
Focus mode, for when you need to disappear into the work
Some sessions need a wide screen and nothing else pulling at your attention. Toggle focus mode from the maximize icon in the chat header, right next to version history, and your conversation expands to fill nearly the whole screen. The preview panel steps aside, replaced by a soft, translucent backdrop, so you can still sense the project underneath without it competing for your eyes.
It’s available to everyone building on desktop. Mobile screens are too small for a second panel to hide in the first place, so it’s chat as usual there. Plans render a little differently in focus mode too, opening in an expanded layout with room to open the full plan in canvas and leave comments section by section.
For many of you, new projects will now open in focus mode automatically, right up until your first build finishes. Then it steps back out on its own, so you can see what you made. You can always toggle it manually too, in either direction, any time.
One more thing worth knowing: closing the chat, switching to mobile, or finishing that first build all bring you back out of focus mode automatically. No cleanup required.

See exactly what changed, every time
AI-assisted building only works if you trust what got built. Now you don’t have to take it on faith.
Click into any action the agent takes and see a full code diff right inside the chat: the exact lines that changed, got added, or got removed. No more guessing what shifted between one prompt and the next, and no more undoing an entire session because you can’t isolate the one edit you didn’t want.
Full visibility into every step of the build, so you stay the one who decides what stays.
This is what a smoother build should feel like
A dashboard that gets out of your way. Emails that arrive from a domain your users trust. A focus mode for the moments that need your full attention. A diff for every change, so nothing is a mystery. None of these are headline features on their own. Together, they’re the difference between a tool that keeps up with you and one you keep working around.
All four are live right now. Open your dashboard and see for yourself.
Let it glow.
FAQ
Do I need to reconnect my existing projects to see the new dashboard? No. The refreshed sidebar, project filters, and live thumbnails are already live on your account. No action needed.
Which SMTP providers does custom SMTP support? Any provider that gives you standard SMTP credentials, including Resend, SendGrid, and Postmark.
Does focus mode work on mobile? Not yet. Focus mode is a desktop feature, since there’s no second panel on a mobile screen for it to clear away in the first place.
Can I still see my project preview while focus mode is on? The preview panel is hidden while focus mode is active. Toggle it off any time from the same header icon to bring it back.
