Upload images and documents to guide the AI

Share files with Sticklight to provide context for your project. Uploads help the AI understand your vision more precisely.

Supported File Formats

Images

  • PNG (.png) – Best for logos, graphics, and images that need transparency
  • JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg) – Best for photographs and complex images with many colors
  • GIF (.gif) – Best for simple animations and low-color graphics
  • WebP (.webp) – Optimized web format with smaller file sizes

Graphics

  • SVG (.svg) – Scalable vector graphics; ideal for logos, icons, and illustrations that need to scale without losing quality

Documents

  • PDF (.pdf) – Best for brand guidelines, wireframes, design specs, and multi-page documents
  • Plain text (.txt) – Best for content briefs, copy, and simple text documents

Fonts

  • WOFF2 (.woff2) – Best for web; smallest file size
  • WOFF (.woff) – Good fallback format
  • TTF (.ttf) – TrueType fonts
  • OTF (.otf) – OpenType fonts

For details on using custom fonts, see Custom Fonts.

Best Practices

  • Higher resolution is better – More detail means more accurate interpretation
  • Annotate when helpful – Circle or highlight specific elements you want replicated
  • Combine with text – Tell the AI what aspects of the upload matter most
  • One concept per upload – Multiple references can create conflicting signals

Using Uploads with Brand Kits

If you have existing brand assets:

  1. Upload your logo, brand materials, or example materials
  2. Ask Sticklight to extract your color palette
  3. Apply those colors to your brand kit
  4. All future elements will use your brand colors automatically
