Data Dashboard

The Cloud Database lets you view, search, and manage your database directly in Sticklight.

Who can do this: Owners, Admins, and Editors can view and manage data in the Data dashboard. See Roles and Permissions for details.

Accessing Your Data

1. Click Cloud in the top navigation bar
2. Select Database from the sidebar
3. Hover over Data to see your available tables
4. Click a table name to view its contents

The Data tab is available after enabling Cloud Backend.

Data View Layout

Once you select a table, you’ll see:

• Table name displayed at the top
• Search bar to find specific records
• New item button to add records
• Table menu (three dots) for additional options
• Data grid showing your records in rows and columns
• Pagination at the bottom for navigating large datasets

Viewing Data

Browse records:
Scroll through your data or use pagination for large tables.

Search:
Find specific records by searching text fields.

Sort:
Click column headers to sort ascending or descending.

Table Menu Options

Click the three-dot menu in the top right of the data view to access:

• Export data – Download your table as a file for backups, analysis, or sharing
• Schema – View your table structure including column names, data types, and constraints
• Delete table – Permanently remove the table and all its data

Tables Overview

When you open the Data tab, you’ll see all your database tables displayed in a visual grid. This overview gives you a quick snapshot of your entire database structure.

From the overview, you can:

• See all tables at a glance – Each table shows its name and entry count
• View security badges – Quickly identify which tables are public, personal, or have custom permissions
• Click to explore – Select any table to view and manage its data

Switching Between Tables

Once you’re viewing a table’s data, use the inline dropdown at the top to quickly switch between tables without going back to the overview.

Empty Tables

If a table has no data yet, you’ll see an empty state with an “Ask AI to set data” button. Clicking this pre-fills the chat with a helpful prompt to get you started adding data to your table.

Permissions

From the Cloud Database, you can access the Permissions section to view and manage security rules for all your tables. Click on Permissions in the Database view to see the matrix of roles and actions, and use Edit Permissions with AI to make changes through the chat.
