As you work on a project, your conversation naturally grows. Smart Conversation Management ensures this growth never becomes a barrier:

• Seamless continuation – You keep building without needing to start fresh or manage context yourself
• No message limits – Continue iterating as long as you need without hitting walls

How It Works

When your conversation reaches a certain length, Sticklight automatically:

1. Identifies older portions of the conversation
2. Summarizes key decisions, instructions, and context
3. Preserves the summary while freeing up space for new messages
4. Continues the conversation with full awareness of what came before

This happens transparently – you don’t need to take any action.

What Gets Preserved

Smart Conversation Management prioritizes what matters most:

• Design decisions – Colors, fonts, and styling choices you’ve established
• Brand kit settings – Your custom colors and fonts
• Project structure – What pages, sections, and components exist
• Recent changes – The latest work you’ve done
• Your intent – The overall direction and goals of the project

What You’ll Notice

In most cases, you won’t notice anything – the experience is designed to be seamless. You may occasionally see a brief indicator that context has been summarized, but your workflow continues uninterrupted.

If you reference something from much earlier in the conversation, Sticklight uses the summarized context to understand your request. For very specific details from early messages, you may want to restate them.

Best Practices for Long Sessions

Reference important decisions explicitly
If a specific detail matters, mention it in your current request:

“Using the blue we established earlier (#3B82F6), add a banner section”

Be specific about changes
Clear, specific requests work best:

“Change the hero headline to ‘Build Faster’ and increase the font size”

Use your brand kit
Settings saved in your brand kit are always preserved. Establish colors and fonts early so they’re available throughout your session.

Leverage Plan mode for exploration
When exploring ideas in Plan mode, your experiments don’t clutter the build context. Switch back to Build mode when ready to execute.

Working Across Sessions

When you return to a project later, Sticklight has full access to your project files and structure. While the conversation history from previous sessions isn’t carried over, your actual project – all the code, styles, and content – is preserved and understood.

For continuity across sessions:

• Your project files are always intact
• Version history tracks all changes
• Brand kit settings persist
• Database content (if using Sticklight Cloud) is saved
