Why Antigravity
Good for:
- Designers who want visual control during AI builds
- Creators who prefer seeing layout changes instantly
- Teams presenting work-in-progress to clients visually
Standout features:
- Visual canvas alongside AI conversation
- Real-time layout adjustments while building
- Collaborative features for team feedback
Prerequisites
- Antigravity installed
- A Sticklight account
Step-by-Step Setup
1. Open Antigravity settings
Click the settings icon or use the command palette.
2. Navigate to MCP servers
Find the MCP or Connections section in settings.
3. Add Sticklight as a server
Add a new MCP server with:
- Name: Sticklight
- URL:
https://mcp.sticklight.com/mcp - Authentication: OAuth
Alternatively, edit your MCP configuration file directly:
{
"mcpServers": {
"sticklight": {
"url": "https://mcp.sticklight.com/mcp"
}
}
}
4. Authenticate
Connect and complete the Sticklight OAuth flow when prompted.
5. Start building
Open the AI chat panel and start prompting. Your canvas updates as Sticklight builds.
Your First Build
Try this prompt:
“Use Sticklight to create a product launch page for a smart home device. Include a hero with the product image centered, feature highlights with icons, a comparison table against competitors, early-bird pricing, and an email signup for launch notifications. Keep it sleek and tech-forward.”
Watch the canvas update as the page builds. Drag elements to adjust positioning while the AI works.
Antigravity-Specific Tips
Think visually – Use the canvas to see your app take shape. Drag elements to adjust positioning while prompting for content changes.
Collaborate in real-time – Antigravity’s collaborative features let team members or clients watch and comment as you build.
Design while building – Unlike chat-only interfaces, you can see the full layout context while making decisions. “Move the CTA above the testimonials” is easier when you can see both.
Present work-in-progress – Share your canvas with clients during the build process. They see progress in real-time, reducing revision cycles.
Troubleshooting
Antigravity doesn’t show Sticklight tools
- Reload the MCP server configuration
- Verify the URL ends with
/mcp - Check that authentication completed successfully
- Restart Antigravity or refresh the workspace
Canvas not updating
Make sure you’re connected and authenticated. Try a simple edit prompt to trigger a refresh.
