Managing Your Billing

3 min read

Update your payment method, change your plan, view invoices, and manage billing information from one central page.

The Manage Billing page gives you full control over your Sticklight subscription. View your current plan, update payment details, download invoices, and make changes to your billing information.

Who can do this: Workspace Owners only. Other members cannot access billing settings. See Roles and Permissions for details.

Accessing Manage Billing

  1. Click on your avatar in the top-right corner of your workspace
  2. Select Manage Billing from the dropdown menu

This takes you to the billing management page at sticklight.com/manage-billing.

Your Plan

The top of the page shows your current subscription status:

  • Current plan (Free or Pro tier)
  • Monthly credits included with your plan
  • Credits remaining and when they renew
  • Change Plan button to upgrade or downgrade

Your credit balance updates in real time. For details on how credits work, see Credits.

Payment Method

Add or update the card used for your subscription:

  1. Find the Payment Method section
  2. Click Manage
  3. Enter your new card details
  4. Save your changes

Your payment method is stored securely and used for subscription renewals and any plan upgrades.

Billing Information

Update the name and email associated with your billing:

  1. Find the Billing Information section
  2. Click Manage
  3. Update your details
  4. Save your changes

This information appears on your invoices and receipts.

Billing History

View and download all your past invoices:

  • Date when the charge occurred
  • Invoice number for your records
  • Amount charged
  • Status (Paid, Pending, etc.)
  • Download link to get a PDF copy

Click PDF next to any invoice to download it for your records or accounting.

Changing Your Plan

To upgrade or downgrade your subscription:

  1. Click Change Plan in the Your Plan section
  2. Select your desired plan
  3. Confirm the change

Upgrades take effect immediately. You receive the difference in credits between your current plan and your new plan, and you’re charged the prorated cost for the remainder of your billing cycle.

Example: You’re on a plan with 500 monthly credits and upgrade to a plan with 1,200 monthly credits halfway through your billing cycle.

  • You receive 700 additional credits immediately (1,200 – 500 = 700)
  • You pay half the price difference between the two plans (since you’re halfway through the cycle)
  • Your next billing cycle charges the full amount of your new plan

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You keep access to your current plan until then.

For more details on how plan changes affect your credits, see Credits.
